JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – An increasing number of families are choosing to pick up pre-cooked Thanksgiving meals rather than prepare traditional feasts at home, with local businesses reporting strong sales in the final hours before the holiday.
Logan Farms in Jackson experienced a busy day of pre-Thanksgiving food pickups as customers opted for convenience over kitchen time.
“We’re gonna sell probably 2,500 to 3,000 hams and probably a little less than that in turkeys this year,” said Davis Roberts, Director of Operations at Logan Farms. “And it’s shaping up to be a good year. We’re beating last year right now as far as sales go.”
