Thanksgiving traditions, meals take shape in Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Families in the Jackson area are busy preparing their meals and traditions ahead of Thanksgiving.

For many, the work starts early. Families said they started cooking and preparing dishes to make Thursday’s celebration smoother and less stressful.

“I’m actually starting my cooking today with all of my cold items and things like that, that I will put in the refrigerator. So, that way all I got to do is take it out, pop it in the oven tomorrow and have it ready to go,” said Kevin Brown, owner of Sugg’s Catering and Event Planning…
