Firefighters take out condo fire in Nuuanu

NUUANU, Hawaii (Island News) — The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) fully extinguished a fire at a condominium in Nuuanu on Thursday evening.

HFD received a 911 call about a fire on S. Judd Street in Nuuanu at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27. When firefighters arrived at the scene, smoke was seen coming from a high-rise condo.

Firefighters searched inside to determine no one was inside. They were able to get the fire under control and it was fully extinguished at 6:04 p.m…
