CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Newly released 911 calls are shedding light on the moments when two women were pursued by Border Patrol agents through Plaza Midwood — and the confusion that followed as callers asked for help that, according to neighbors, never arrived.

Queen City News obtained multiple 911 recordings placed during the pursuit and shortly afterward. The calls paint a picture of frightened residents, worried family members, and a police response that remains unclear.

“I’m being followed by Border Patrol…”

In one 911 call, a woman behind the wheel tells the dispatcher she is being followed by Border Patrol agents in unmarked cars with their lights on. Listen below:

“I’m on The Plaza and Belvedere,” she says. “I’m at a stoplight.”

According to the husband of one of the two women, who called 911 separately, the women were told not to pull over and instead try to find a police station…
