One dead in east Columbus homicide

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person is dead following a homicide in east Columbus Thursday afternoon.

According to a Columbus police media release, Columbus police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of South Broadleigh Road just after 2 p.m. The officers found an unresponsive victim, later identified as 29-year-old Christopher Smith.
