Low-Speed Pursuit of Vehicle Ends with Arrest of Stockton Man

A Stockton man faces several charges after he allegedly failed to pull over for Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday morning. Deputies say 41-year-old Justin Horton committed traffic violations on Route 430 in the Town of Chautauqua shortly before 7:40 AM and continued to drive erratically at slow speeds before coming to a stop on Mill Street. Horton allegedly obstructed deputies during the investigation and resisted arrest while being taken into custody. They also located a small quantity of methamphetamine on Horton’s person. He was charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, 2nd-degree obstruction, and numerous traffic violations — including driving below the minimum posted speed limit…
