Amtrak train loses power in Marengo Township, 107 passengers stranded on Thanksgiving

MARENGO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An Amtrak train lost engine power, stranding over 100 passengers in Marengo Township on Thanksgiving.

At around 8:42 p.m., deputies from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) responded to a disabled Amtrak train near Marshall.
