GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — As winter weather sweeps across West Michigan ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, some travelers are delaying their trips while others are pushing through with extra precautions.
At a local gas station in Grand Rapids, Greg Whittle said strong winds and snowy conditions convinced his family to reschedule their travel.
“It’s pretty windy … I’ve got three little kids. Especially with kids, I don’t know if I’d be traveling in this weather,” he said.
