Lakeland, FL – A major Thanksgiving tradition in Lakeland continued this year as Volunteers in Service to the Elderly organized a large community effort to deliver holiday meals to older residents.
The program, which has expanded steadily over the past two decades, focuses on providing both food and personal interaction for seniors who may not otherwise have a holiday meal.
