HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Kami-Con HAI, the Huntsville edition of the popular anime and pop-culture convention, is going on hiatus after organizers announced they are pulling out of the city for the foreseeable future.
In a statement posted on Facebook, event organizers said attendance at the Huntsville show had declined each year since its launch, leading them to shift their focus back to Birmingham.
“We loved being in the Huntsville area, but with attendance numbers for the event dropping every year, after a 3-year try, we decided to focus our efforts in Birmingham,” the statement said…
