Tragedy struck nearly a year ago on West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, where an 18-year-old male fell victim to a violent shooting. The Stockton Police Department reported that on December 10, 2024, officers responded to a call at around 6 pm and found the young man with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to the hospital and listed in critical condition, the individual ultimately succumbed to his injuries eight days later.
