MONROE, NC – Fun One Radio, Monroe’s listener-supported community radio station, was named “Radio Station of the Year” at the 31st Annual Carolina Beach Music Awards (CBMA).
The awards was held earlier this month in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It marks the station’s fifth time in six years to receive this honor.
In addition to the station’s milestone win, Eric Bowman, host of The Wave New Beach Music Countdown and The Beach Club, both heard exclusively on Fun One Radio, was honored with two major awards:
- Radio DJ of the Year
- Radio Show of the Year for The Wave New Beach Music Countdown
