ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Volunteers across the area worked to ensure no one went hungry this Thanksgiving. From the Open Door Mission in Rochester to Harvest Christian Fellowship in Albion, many spent the holiday giving back to the community.
“When I volunteer, you’d think it’s to help other people, but it does good for your own self, your own soul,” a Harvest Church volunteer said.
