A large underage drinking party was busted in Upstate New York, according to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC).
Four DEC Forest Rangers conducted a late-night detail to curtail the suspected party in Coon Hollow State Forest on Saturday night. Rangers met with deputies from the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office around 10 p.m. and blocked off Chambers Road in the Town of Orange at 11:30 p.m.
Authorities found approximately 50 people at the bonfire gathering with alcohol and issued 19 tickets, according to the DEC. They determined which subjects were able to drive and which ones needed to call for a ride home…
