Quincy man sentenced to 13 years on federal drug charges

A Quincy man has been sentenced to 13 years in federal prison for drug charges, according to a Nov. 26 press release.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Zanntayfey Yohoun Bennett, 42, had previously been found guilty of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and marijuana. He was also found in violation of the terms of his supervised release for previous federal convictions in 2019 for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and organized dog fighting.

“Thanks to the excellent investigative work of our state and federal law enforcement partners, this repeat offender has been removed from our streets and will serve a lengthy sentence in federal prison,” U.S. Attorney Jack Heekin of the Northern District of Florida said in a statement…
