WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police have arrested the suspect in connection to an assault from August 2022.

On Aug. 19, 2022, around 1 a.m., the suspect and victim were arguing in the 2300 block of Good Hope Road, Southeast. At some point, the fight escalated and the suspect pulled out a gun, striking the victim mutlipe times before fleeing.
The victim was transported to the hospital for their injuries.
On Tuesday, Nov. 25, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 40-year-old Anthony Hammond, of Southeast, D.C., was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun)…
