ANKENY, Iowa– Over 1,000 people braved the cold and lined up for hours outside of the Ankeny Mills Fleet Farm location to get their hands on a free giveaway item.
Mills Fleet Farm has been giving out free plush animals on Black Friday for over 20 years. It’s an item that many collect and look forward to getting each year when the animal theme is revealed.
In 2024, the stuffed animal was a penguin and the supply lasted under an hour.
This year, that stuffed animal is a moose. It was advertised on Facebook that each Mills Fleet Farm location would have 500 moose to hand out to customers…
