Peak travel times for weekend after Thanksgiving

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Over a million people in Wisconsin and tens of millions in the U.S. traveled for the Thanksgiving Day holiday week.

Now it’s time for them to come home. AAA predicts a record of nearly 82 million people will travel Friday through Monday.

You can expect the heaviest traffic on the roads:

  • Friday: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
