ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY) — More than 20 nonprofit organizations in St. Landry Parish have received a portion of over $200,000 in funding from Judge Charles Cravens, aimed at supporting health care-related missions.
The funds were acquired from class action lawsuits and distributed just before the Thanksgiving holiday, providing a timely boost to organizations like the St. Landry and Evangeline Sexual Assault Center, which had been facing financial hardships.
