Calls were distributed across city districts. The East district had 78 calls, Midtown had 65, Central had 62, West had 63, North had 57, South had 51, and 5 calls were listed as ‘Other.’ The ‘Other’ category includes calls outside city sectors or those involving assistance to other law enforcement agencies.
During this 24-hour period, officers handled only priority calls at certain times due to staffing and call volume. On November 26, from 7:41 p.m. to 8:16 p.m., and again starting at 3:14 a.m. on November 27, only priority incidents were addressed.
Several incidents were reported during this timeframe. In the East district at 9:29 a.m., a caller reported an unknown person with a gun at their door. Officers found no immediate threat. The caller’s mother expressed concern for her adult child’s mental health. At 12:12 p.m. in the Central district, an armed robbery was reported on State Street.
