Colorado Springs, CO – Gray skies stretch low across the Front Range this morning as Colorado braces for a bitter turn toward true winter. A fresh round of snow and plummeting temperatures will challenge post-Thanksgiving travelers through Sunday and into early next week.
According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, snow begins this evening in the central mountains, spreading south through Saturday morning. Totals could reach 3 to 5 inches in the higher elevations, with gusty winds causing blowing snow and reduced visibility through the passes.
