Southcentral Alaska is bracing for hazardous travel conditions this weekend as the National Weather Service issues a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29th, to 6 a.m. Sunday, November 30th.
Forecasters predict a mix of freezing rain and snow will move into the region on Saturday, from midday to afternoon, affecting Anchorage, the Lower Matanuska Valley, the northwest and southwest Kenai Peninsula, Skilak Lake, and the Southern Susitna Valley.
