Red Cross helping 13 people after Troy fire

TROY, N.Y. (WRGB) — The Red Cross is helping 13 people after a fire early Friday morning at 566 2nd Street in Troy.

Two families lived in the home. The victims include seven adults and six children, ages 15, 11, 3, 2, and three-month-old twins.

Firefighters say some victims had to be rescued, including one who came through a window. At least two people were taken to the hospital. The fire was brought under control, and the cause remains under investigation…
