CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — Runners, walkers, families and even pets came together Thursday morning at Coolidge Park for the 27th annual Grateful Gobbler 5K, an event that kicks off Thanksgiving in Chattanooga while raising money for the McClellan Shelter.
The race drew more than 7,000 participants from across the country. Some were competing to beat personal records, while others dressed in costumes or simply enjoyed the festive atmosphere with their families and dogs.
