Travel Without a Passport: UNG’s Domestic Study Away Programs

Experience is everything, and through the Center for Global Engagement at the University of North Georgia every student has an opportunity to broaden their perspective through traveling programs.

The Study Abroad is a program, where students can gain credit hours while traveling internationally, is well known on campus, but an alternative option is the domestic Study Away program.

Inside Higher Ed says Study Away “allows students the experience of traveling beyond their campus and learning a new setting, providing similar learning objectives to an international program or exchange.”…
