Local shoppers head out to try and snag Black Friday deals

Thousands of bargain hunters were out early this morning before the sun came up.

Since the 1960s, Americans have regarded the day after Thanksgiving as a designated day for guilt-free retail therapy, crowding in malls and retail stores to catch deals and check off Christmas lists while supplies lasted.
