GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Jim Foerch doesn’t go by his full name when he’s working at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. His name tag says “Mr. Jim,” which is what everyone calls him as they take in his presentations inside the museum’s planetarium.
For the last 16 years, he has made the dark dome feel like the best classroom in the city, and now he’s adding a little extra sparkle to the holidays.
Starting this weekend, the museum’s planetarium has a special musical light show called Let It Snow. It will run every weekend through the end of the year. A new daily program about the northern lights is also available.
