Holiday Chaos on Fronefield? Police Say Driver Walked Away Carrying a Turkey

LINWOOD, PA — Lower Chichester Township Police are investigating a series of alleged offenses involving a 70-year-old man who officers say struck multiple vehicles before attempting to walk away from the scene while carrying a turkey.

According to police, the incident occurred on November 16, 2025, at approximately 7:10 p.m., when officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Fronefield Avenue for a reported vehicle accident involving a possibly intoxicated driver. At the time, Lower Chichester officers were engaged in a separate arrest, and responding officers from Upper Chichester Township arrived first.

Witnesses at the scene directed officers to a vehicle facing the wrong direction down the street. Police say the operator had exited the vehicle and began walking away while holding a turkey.
