LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kindness was on the menu for hundreds across Lexington this Thanksgiving, with volunteers stepping up to make sure everyone had a place to celebrate.
“This is a tradition for our family,” said Alison Lundergan Grimes with Lundy’s Catering. “Helping to serve the less fortunate in our community, making sure that they have a great Thanksgiving holiday experience.”

For nearly 40 years, the Salvation Army and Lundy’s Catering have made this holiday meal a tradition, one meant to give families in need a warm, welcoming place to celebrate.
