LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Each year, an organization provides the gift of warmth to many people throughout Louisville. The free coat exchange started more than a decade ago and has helped many people who may not be able to afford to stay warm.
“We first started this in the parking lot of the garage bar, and we’ve grown from one giveaway site to nine giveaway sites, and from one or two drop-off sites to 45 drop-off sites,” Ted Loebenberg, founder of Free Coat Exchange, said.
