The nomination period of our six-week-long “best of Stanislaus County” series was a closer race when determining the top five pizza joints than it was for the first installment.
After the three-day period, the Stanislaus County pizza shops that received the most entries are: Gold Dust Pizza with 13 nominations, Luigi’s Pizza with 12, Pizza Plus (7), Nizario’s Pizza & Grill (5) and Mountain Mike’s Pizza (3).
Notably, Chinn’s International was nominated twice. I was interested to see a restaurant that doesn’t focus solely on pizza get support from the community for its pies…
