Murfreesboro residents Steve and Karen Hickok have heard Salvation Army bells as the soundtrack of their life in December for decades.
Steve first volunteered with the Salvation Army in 1972 as a student at Asbury College in Kentucky. Karen began volunteering with the organization in the winter of 2016 in Auburn, Alabama. They both plan to be part of the organization’s bell ringing program this month.
