Lewisville Community Mourns as Woman Dies, Four Hospitalized After Mobile Home Park Blaze

A woman has perished, and four individuals are hospitalized following an early morning fire in Lewisville. The blaze ignited yesterday, tearing through one of the homes within the Eagle Ridge Mobile Home Park, which is situated on the 600 block of Holfords Prairie Road. This tragic event shook the community as first responders rushed to the crisis point after the emergency call was made at approximately 2:30 a.m.

Upon their swift arrival, Lewisville Fire Department personnel were greeted by the grim scene of heavy flames engulfing a home. Reports from the City of Lewisville indicated that one individual managed to escape before the emergency crews reached the site and informed them that four more people, believed to be family members, were still trapped inside. A second alarm was sounded to summon additional firefighters to the scene.

The Lewisville fire teams staged a rescue, pulling three adults and one child from the inferno. In a critical state, two adults and the child required immediate emergency resuscitation efforts after being found in cardiac arrest. The transported victims were rushed to local hospitals, where sadly, an adult woman succumbed to her catastrophic injuries.
