Mayor Nancy Moore has declared a Snow Emergency for the City of Monona. The emergency will be in effect from 8:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2025, to 10:00 AM on Sunday, November 30, 2025. The declaration follows a forecast of heavy snowfall in the area. During this time, street parking is not allowed in Monona. Exceptions are made for certain sections of St. Theresa Terrace, Gordon Avenue, Wallace Avenue, Valorie Lane, and Anthony Place, where alternate side parking is allowed.
Residents can use city park parking lots at Ahuska, Lottes, Winnequah, Frostwoods Beach, Fireman’s, Maywood, and Schluter Parks until the emergency ends. Police will ticket and tow vehicles that block snow removal. Residents should check the city’s map for details on parking exceptions…
