- Increasing clouds, with snow moving in after midnight
- Heavy snow at times throughout the day Saturday
- Blowing snow Sunday, with dropping temperatures overnight
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – It was a great way to end the weekend, as a brief period of sunshine took over our skies allowing daytime highs to reach the lower half of the 30s, after a very cold start with lows in the teens. Quiet weather conditions should persist throughout the evening, with clouds moving in later tonight ahead of our next area of low pressure to our west. This area of low pressure will interact with cold air already in place, and tap into a bit of moisture to bring us a significant winter storm through much of our Saturday. Tonight, expect snow to move in after midnight with a low of 21 degrees.
