Teen left in parking lot after being shot expected to live: Police

FLORISSANT, Mo. – A 15-year-old boy, who was dropped off in the parking lot of a police department after being shot in the chest in Florissant Thursday night, is expected to survive.

According to the Florissant Valley Police Department, the incident happened just after 8 p.m. at Mullanphy Court, where officers were called to reports of a person who was shot.

When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they say they located the teen suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper left chest.
