SAN ANTONIO – A violent shootout at a West Side park Wednesday afternoon has left a man in critical condition.
The shooting happened just after 2:30 p.m. at West End Park off Menchaca Street and North Hamilton Avenue.
Police said an anonymous caller reported that six to seven men arrived at the park, exchanged gunfire, and then drove off in separate vehicles. When officers arrived, they found numerous shell casings and a blood trail on the grassy area near the playground…
