MURRAY, Utah (ABC4) — High school sweethearts, Vannessa and Daxton Lowe, had what they called a “Thanksgiving never to be forgotten” when Vannessa gave birth to their baby in the car while on the shoulder of the freeway.
The couple shared that they were going to drop off their toddler at Daxton’s parents’ house for Thanksgiving dinner because Vannessa started to feel labor coming on. While Daxton was inside dropping off the child, Vanessa called him and told him to quickly come back out to the car because she knew the baby was coming soon.

She said, “I had one really long contraction as he was taking the toddler in.” They quickly started to make their way to the hospital but had to pull off at the 5300 South exit on I-15.
Daxton said that when he asked Vannessa if she was going to make it to the hospital, she said, “I feel like she’s coming right now. I reached down and I go, ‘Wow that’s her head.’”…
