ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – With the rise of online big-box conglomerates over the past decade, some local businesses still practice traditional Black Friday sales. Across the city, people still flocked to local stores for Black Friday deals. Even with the rise in online big-box sales, local business owners say their customers like to take advantage of their discounts to keep their money local.
“During Black Friday we see a 400% increase in our daily sales for that weekend,” Owner of Sage Craft, Sage Work Organics, and Paw Prints Graphics Michael Candelaria said. “So we like to run as many Black Friday sales as we can to get people in the door.”
