RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The City of Reno is embracing the Christmas Spirit with its annual Christmas Tree lighting at the Believe Plaza.
“We are celebrating our annual Christmas tree lighting. As you can see, we got it on the first try,” said Mayor Hillary Schieve. “I was very excited because last year, it didn’t go so well. But this year, you can tell there is a lot of excitement down here, and people are enjoying themselves.”
The holiday magic starts earlier in the evening at 4 p.m. with the 2025 Holiday Lights Festival, hosted by Great American Craft Fairs. This event is part of a two-day festival that runs Nov. 28-29. It will be full of festive fun, sparkling lights, and family-friendly activities…
