HONOLULU (KHON) — The bail of Joseph Davis–a 40-year-old man from Volcano who was arrested on suspicion of the Nov. 25 shooting in the Mountain View Mini Mart parking lot–was maintained at over $1 million, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney reported.
On Nov. 28, Davis appeared in Hilo District Court for his initial appearance. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 2.

Police said Davis shot the 52-year-old victim three times with a .38 caliber Taurus revolver.
