Boca Raton Rings in Centennial Finale with 53rd Annual Holiday Street Parade

As Boca Raton wraps up its centennial celebrations, residents and holiday enthusiasts can expect a festive display at the city’s 53rd Annual Holiday Street Parade, themed ‘The Centennial Express: 100 Years of Holiday Cheer’. The celebration will roll out along Federal Highway starting at SE 5th Street, continuing north to the Mizner Park Amphitheater. The parade is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 3, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., as reported by the Boca Post. This event promises a grand lineup of over 70 floats, marching bands, and community groups.

For the convenient of attendees, streets will be closed, and free public parking will be offered at several locations, while attendees are encouraged to consider walking, biking, or using rideshare options. Notably, prior to the main event, a “Boca Holiday Mile Run” organized with the Boca Raton Police Athletic League will give families a chance to be active on the parade route. Beyond the parade, Boca Jolly Days continues with a host of holiday events including a Holiday Pops Concert, Tuba Christmas, and a December Night Market according to the Boca Post.

Meanwhile, over in West Palm Beach, the Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony brings another type of festive cheer. Set for Thursday, December 4, the event will spotlight ‘Sandi Tree’—a towering Christmas tree made from 700 tons of sand—and return for its 13th year. The event, detailed by WPBF, will also feature live music, a boutique, photos with Santa, and rides until 10 p.m., with the tree lighting event happening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m…
