In a combined operation conducted by drug control units from South Boston, Jamaica Plain, and Hyde Park, Boston police officers executed search warrants on 18 Adams Street, Hyde Park, resulting in a significant drug seizure. According to an official statement obtained by the Boston Police Department’s news blog, the bust took place on Wednesday, and led to the arrest of Jefrey Candelario, 30, of Roslindale.
Candelario was reportedly observed leaving the specified location prior to being stopped and subsequently detained by officers. Following the motor vehicle stop, the suspect was informed of the multiple search warrants in his name. Upon entry of Candelario’s apartment, officers uncovered a haul of drugs which included 118 grams of Cocaine, 102 grams of Crack Cocaine, and 31 grams of Fentanyl. Additional items seized in the search were a digital scale, materials related to drug manufacturing, a sum of approximately $1,095 in cash, and a dirt bike, the last of which is set to become the focus of the Auto Theft Task Force for further investigation, as reported by the Boston Police Department.
The Boston Police Department’s announcement details that Candelario is expected to face charges for trafficking of Class A and Class B substances as well as reckless endangerment of a child.
