Mother Nature couldn’t make up her mind last Saturday. It rained, then the sun shone, then we had sprinkles, then the sun shone again! The weather scared away many vendors and customers, but plenty of produce was still available.
We were able to buy carrots, large heads of lettuce, bagged lettuce and frisee lettuce too, beets, broccoli, Swiss chard, kale, collards, mustard greens, butternut squash, potatoes, eggplant, sweet and hot peppers, radishes, spinach, arugula, tomatoes, onions, scallions, pumpkins, herbs and fresh pecans.
