GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was hospitalized after a fire at a home in southeast Grand Rapids early Friday morning, according to the Grand Rapids Fire Department.
It happened around 1:21 a.m. near Evergreen Street southeast when a fire started in a room of a home, firefighters said. Crews were on the scene within three minutes, with the fire contained in the room where it started. It was quickly put out, firefighters said.
