The 15th annual Cardboard City fundraiser for Family Promise of Jacksonville brought in a record $178,502 for the nonprofit’s homelessness prevention programs.
The total included $136,000 collected from individuals and corporate sponsors by Lachlan Lovett, a sophomore at The Bolles School, the most ever raised by one person, according to Family Promise. Last year she raised $97,000.
