MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — For the eighth consecutive year, Sonshine Recovery hosted its Thanksgiving event in Myrtle Beach.
The mission is to provide everyone with an opportunity to eat a hot meal in a great community.
“What we’re hearing from the people today is if it weren’t for y’all, we wouldn’t be having a meal,” Timothy Carter, Pastor and Founder of Sonshine Recovery Ministries, said. “That’s God’s grace that he gives us, that we make sure we’re looking out for those that were like us. You know, we’ve all been here. We’ve all struggled, and because of God’s grace, we can do what we do. And financially, we can’t do it without the community support of our ministry. That we pay it forward.”…
