ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Don and Barbara Smith Children’s Museum, also known as Kids Square, located at Center in the Square, is inviting businesses and families to decorate cardboard gingerbread people for the 2025 Great Gingerbread Escape.
According to officials, the Gingerbread people will be presented throughout all five floors of Center in the Square, and patrons will be asked to tour the displays and vote for their favorite. They also note that all displays will be in public areas and that no museum admission will be required to vote.
“This is going to be so much fun!” said Felicia Branham, executive director of Kids Square. “We want decorators to go over the top with their ideas, so that each gingerbread person is unique. We also want it to be hard for the judges to decide which one they love the most!”…
