The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for criminal contempt of court and other outstanding warrants across multiple jurisdictions.
Benjamin F. LaPlante, 43, is wanted on a charge of second-degree criminal contempt of court. According to officials, he also has additional warrants with the Rochester Police Department, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, and the Altamont Village Police Department.
LaPlante is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.
