The rooftop of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, once home to the pre-theater restaurant staple Fresco, will invite diners back this winter in what looks a little like a COVID flashback — three clear plastic domes.
“There is a type of Madisonian where winter is the time that they thrive,” said MMoCA communications director Andrew Rogers.
Each heated dome, made by Garden Igloo, seats up to eight people in the museum’s outdoor Rooftop Lounge. Starting in January, these will be open for 90-minute reservations on Friday evenings from 5-8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m…
